The Legacy Project
What do you want to be remembered for? What do you want your legacy to be? In what way do you want to leave the world a better place?
I got a phone call from a woman who’d heard me speak. She knew I lived in the Asheville, North Carolina area and wanted to know if I knew of anyone who had gone through a life-altering event that had changed the direction of their life, inspiring them to want to make a difference in the world. She wanted to do an interview for a film she and her husband were making.
I told her I’d think about it. And the more I thought about it, the more my gut was screaming, “That’s me!”
So, my story is now immortalized on film in The Legacy Project. Some of you may be familiar with my story. Many probably aren’t. One thing’s for sure. My life certainly changed direction … in an instant.
P.S. They did a great job. My only regret is that they didn’t immortalize me on film after I’d lost my 65+ pounds!
