Did I Keep The Weight Off?
I think just about everyone has a problem in their lives they think they’ll never be able to resolve … something that’s truly intractable … something they’ll just have to live with.
For me, like a lot of other people, that was the inability to lose weight and keep it off.
And it wasn’t as if I wasn’t trying. It wasn’t as if I was eating a lot or being undisciplined. I went four months without eating any sugar, no fruit, and no refined carbs. I exercised. And I lost a lousy seven pounds.
A lot of that has to do with the fact that I’m allergic to more than 20 foods. I’m full blooded Italian, and I can’t eat tomato sauce! My immune system is hyper-vigilant, and I trigger an inflammatory response at the slightest provocation.
So, I was discouraged. I wasn’t resigned to the fate of being overweight, but I wasn’t really seeing a pathway forward either.
That’s when my Integrative MD recommended HCG. And everything changed.

The promise of the program is that the HCG will not only pull fat from deep storage, making it available to burn, it’ll also reset your hypothalamus to the point where you can eat “normally” after you’re done with the protocol … and not gain weight.
That may be the case for many, but I have to be quite careful or my weight will creep up.
I gained almost 15 pounds back in a year’s time … and my doctor and I decided I should do another round on the protocol. So, it hasn’t been a perfect walk in the park! But, it’s worked for me.
Please understand, I’m not here to promote anything. I just want to give you a resource in case you’ve struggled as I did.
But, the big question …
Where am I now? What are the results? The question I asked in my 2014 newsletter was: “Won’t I just gain the weight back?”
According to Slate, 97% of dieters regain everything they lost and then some within three years. 97%. Yeow!
It took a couple of rounds, but I lost 79 pounds from when I started to my lowest weight.
And I’ve maintained a loss of 75 pounds. In other words, I’m currently up just about four pounds from that lowest weight.
Now, I was fortunate. I found an inexpensive, easy to follow, safe protocol that works. Most people are still in the dark.
But there’s more to it than that.
Here’s the key to success …
I exercised the necessary rigor and demonstrated the required resilience throughout the process … even when the going wasn’t easy!

Okay, so what’s the big takeaway here?
Never become resigned to your “fate.” Never give up on possibility. Even the hardest nut can be cracked. Just keep the faith and keep allowing good things to come to you.
