Everything But THAT!
Have you ever listened to one of those Law of Attraction gurus say, “You can have ANYTHING you want” and think, “Yeah, right … everything but THAT!” You know, that thing you want most in your heart of hearts. The thing that you seem to struggle with the most. It might be your health … or success in business … or that relationship you’ve been longing for.
Those of you who’ve been reading our newsletters for awhile know I’m a huge proponent of being able to create … to manifest … anything we want. And, I’m going to come clean with you. I had a big “yeah, but” of my own.
I’ve been blessed in many ways. I’ve created a hugely successful business I’ve enjoyed for over 10 years. I created the relationship I wanted. I’ve manifested many things big and small. But my weight … well that was another thing entirely! That’s the one thing I worked at, struggled with, and could not for the life of me make any difference with!
It’s been a long journey. I’ve tried it all. Changing my thoughts and beliefs. I gave up all sugars and starches. Followed Atkins rigorously for four months, never cheating … and I only lost 7 pounds! Argh!
I joined a gym, walked, and exercised on a regular basis. Hired a trainer. Hired a different trainer. Worked with a health coach. Looked at any emotional issues around food, family, and my past. But the scale never moved. You get the picture.
But here’s the thing. When your commitment is stronger than the results you’re seeing, you CAN find a way. In fact, if your commitment is unwavering, even when your belief sometimes falters, you WILL find a way.
I did. And looking back, I see that I had to go through the whole process, down all the winding paths that didn’t look like they were going anywhere, to find the answer that worked for me.
Since Sept 15 … in less than 4 months … I’ve lost an additional 46 pounds! And I’ve lost it in a safe, healthy, physician-supervised way!
Now, many of you are going to want to know what the secret is and I’ll tell you, but I want to make sure you really get my deeper message first.
I want to give hope to those of you who may be thinking about giving up. I know you know this quote … When the WHY is strong, the how will follow. If I can make THIS happen, you can make “the impossible” happen too.

P.S. I know that some of you may be interested in trying the HCG diet. I did a TON of research on it prior to starting the program. I’ve learned the ins and outs of the program and I’d be happy to talk with and coach anybody who’s interested in having a helping hand.
The HCG DIET

The HCG diet combines calorie restriction … 500 calories a day from a very limited menu … with injections of small amounts of a hormone (human chorionic gonadotropin) that’s produced in the bodies of pregnant women.
Five hundred calories is precious little, so wasn’t I hungry? A little bit from time to time, but not really, because of the HCG. It effectively draws from your stores of fat to give you the energy and nutrition you need while you drop pounds and inches.
Is it safe? Some will tell you it’s not. I had my doubts.
I did my research. I know and trust those who offer it, including Integrative Medicine pioneer, Jonathan Wright. I believe it’s safe. I’ve had no ill effects. In fact, I’d stay on it for life if I could, because I feel GREAT!
That said, you won’t have to look far or talk with too many people to hear all manner of warnings and stories ranging from those that sound reasonable to those that are just goofy.
Is it expensive? No. Not at all. In fact, I’m convinced that’s why you either haven’t heard of it or have heard it denigrated. There’s no money in it.
Won’t I just gain the weight back? The whole idea behind the program is that your body reacted to some extreme stress in your life by acting the same way it would if it had faced starvation … by deep storing fat … and holding onto it for dear life. The HCG is able to liberate that fat via the same mechanism a pregnant woman would if she didn’t have enough to eat, so that the baby would have enough.
More importantly, the process resets the hypothalamus over the course of the program, so that you no longer retain fat as a protective mechanism. You can eat normally and not gain weight. I could never do that before.
I’ve been through 44 days on the diet followed by six weeks on maintenance where I avoided sugar and starches but otherwise ate normally, and I stayed at the same weight. That’s a typical experience.
Now, I’m not offering medical advice. I’m just describing the method and what I experienced. You can do this only under the supervision of a physician, and you need to make sure they’re working with the original protocol, painstakingly fine-tuned by Dr. Albert Simeon … not some modification.
Your best source for learning more about the Simeon HCG protocol is the HCG Weight Loss Cure Guide by Linda Prinster, which includes Simeon’s 1954 manuscript Pounds and Inches, as well as comprehensive instructions of how to do this the right way.
The diet isn’t hard to follow or stay on. It’s actually the easiest weight loss program I’ve ever done. You don’t have any cravings! I’ve actually enjoyed it, but you do need to be rigorous.
