How Big a Game Did You Play This Year?
It’s the end of the year. It’s the natural time to reflect on what you did and didn’t do this year … what worked and didn’t work. You don’t need a business coach to tell you that.
But it’s the holiday season. Who has the time for a deep dive?
So, let’s cut to the chase and focus on one simple question.
Where did you play small this year?
Where did you let your fears and doubts mess with your mojo?
Look, caution is often warranted, so I don’t want to make it sound like you should thoughtlessly take undue risks.
But when you consistently play small, you’re unlikely to ever accomplish anything really big.
And that’s what most of you are all about, isn’t it? Realizing your full potential. Making a difference for more people.
My first website and branding materials from 20 years ago had this slogan.
Life’s Short. Play Big.
When you have the opportunity and you’ve done your due diligence, don’t hold back. Go for it. Swing out.
So, take just a moment and look at where you held back and played small this year … and what would you do differently if the opportunity presented itself again.
If you would like to do a deeper dive, check out our newsletter from last year. It’ll guide you through the process.
With that, have a wonderful holiday and let’s make 2023 the best year ever!
Best Wishes and Happy Holidays,
